Important Dates & Deadlines

Housing Contracts are available between February 1 and 26, 2024

Contracts and housing deposits are due on February 26, 2024
Applications for individual selection processes will open after March 4th for only students who have completed their contracts and deposits. All students within a housing group must turn in their contracts and deposits in order to apply for any process. Each selection application is due by 12noon on the date listed below through the Residence Portal.
Selection times for each process are assigned based on the number of earned credits (for individuals in the single room process and for groups in all other processes). The due dates listed below are the deadlines to apply for each process. Not all applicants will be awarded selection times; the number of applicants allowed to select will equal the number of housing units available in each process.

Approved Accommodations

Due March 1
Single rooms for students with accommodations will be assigned by the Office of Residence Life based on the Preference Application. The Preference Application will be sent out by the Office of Accessibility to students with approved housing accommodations that are active in the Spring 2024 semester. If you have previously had a housing accommodation through the office of accessibility, but did not renew your accommodation for Spring 2024, you are advised to do so before February 20th.

“Convenience” Singles

Due March 21
Students currently living in singles will need to reapply for a single. If approved to select housing in this process, will select your single room on March 25 and receive a confirmation email after the selection process is complete.

Waring Commons Apartments and Townhouses

Due March 21
For Waring Commons four-person apartments and all townhouses, groups can be co-ed and must apply in full groups of four. Each resident must attain 50 credits by August 1. Students must apply in full groups of 4. If approved to select in this process, your group leader will select your apartment or townhouse on March 25 and receive a confirmation email after the selection process is complete.

6-Person Suites

Due March 28
For 6-person suites, students must apply in full groups of six (Lewis Quad or Waring Commons). All groups and all rooms can be co-ed. If approved to select in this process, your group leader  will select your suite on April 2 and receive a confirmation email after the selection process is complete.

10-Person Suites

Due April 2
For 10-person suites, students must apply in full groups of 10 (Lewis Quad only). All groups and all rooms can be co-ed.  If approved to select in this process, your group leader will select your suite on April 4 and receive a confirmation email after the selection process is complete

Open & Inclusive Housing

Due April 4
Open and Inclusive Housing holds double occupancy rooms on the first floor of Prince George. Students can apply in pairs or by themselves (solo students will be assigned a roommate). If approved to select in this process, you (or your group leader) will select your suite on April 8 and receive a confirmation email after the selection process is complete.

Traditional Double Room Applications

Due April 4
Rooms will be available in Prince George, Dorchester, Queen Anne, Lewis Quad 1, 17 and 24. Students can apply in pairs or by themselves (solo students will be assigned a roommate). You (or your group leader) will select your room on April 8 and 7, and receive a confirmation email after the selection process is complete.
