The Physics Department at St. Mary’s College is dedicated to creating an environment for you to learn and grow both as a physicist and as an individual. You’ll also be encouraged to pursue research alongside the physics faculty. The physics major also offers a concentration in applied physics. The major, concentration in applied physics and our electives will help you to specialize your studies in an area that interests you. Additionally, you can select courses to help prepare you for a career in teaching or engineering.
