In addition to the excellent in-class experience a St. Mary’s Math student receives, there are also numerous opportunities for on and off-campus work that go far beyond the classroom – St. Mary’s students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities and to take control of their education and growth outside the academic environment.
Opportunities include internships, participation in the Math Club and the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition (There’s $10-a-point to the highest scorer on the St. Mary’s team), a number of Community Outreach programs, and the student-designed St. Mary’s Project.
