Investing in the future of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and enhancing the overall student/staff/faculty experience, SMCM is replacing the antiquated Jenzabar system with software that embraces Cloud architecture. This Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) effort will improve productivity, increase efficiencies, streamline processes, and decrease the overall cost of doing business.
After a thorough industry assessment, SMCM selected the software provider Campus Management (CM) to provide their cloud-based platform CampusNexus Student and the CampusNexus Finance, HR & Payroll. Campus Management is a leading provider of cloud-based ERP solutions and services that is used at more than 1,100 institutions.
This important project is not simply an IT project, but a TOTAL organizational commitment to provide a better student and employee experience. We expect that it will take two years for full implementation and transition. The College Steering Committee determined that the implementation will start with the CampusNexus Student portfolio, and then move on to Business/Finance and Human Resources.
Many of our offices will be directly involved making this important transition while we continue conducting business.
