All study abroad recommendations require at least one recommendation. Below are the steps to request a recommendation from your advisor and/or another faculty member.
First, you will need to click on the Request Electronic Recommendation link on your application.
Once you click on this you will be able to search for a SMCM faculty or staff member or manual request a recommendation from someone outside of SMCM.
If you are searching for a SMCM faculty or staff member the next screen requires that you select your appropriate recommender.
Either of the search or the manual entry option will take you to the following screen where you should make sure that you are requesting your recommendation from the correct person (you are only allowed a set number of recommendations per application and can’t change the recommender once it has been sent). You can also enter information that will aid them in providing your recommendation. Once you click Save this will send the SMCM faculty or staff member a link to the recommendation form and their name will appear under recommendations on your application.
Note: All recommendations are due on the same date as the application. Late submissions will not be accepted.
