Intramural and Club Sports Coordinator (full-time, contingent position)
St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the 10-month full-time, contingent position of Intramural & Club Sports Coordinator. Responsible for developing, coordinating, and administering the intramural and club sports programs. This role includes planning, organizing, and promoting a wide range of sports activities to enhance the student experience, foster community engagement, and promote physical well-being. The coordinator will work closely with students, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all participants.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification required or eligible to be certified. One or more years of referee, campus recreation, or other sports management experience, as well as ability to administer multiple ongoing tasks and follow complex administrative procedures and experience with Whentowork, Fusion, IMLeagues, and/or similar software programs. Must possess a valid driver’s license, ability to work weekends and nights, ability to travel occasionally, and ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Salary range: $45,000 to $50,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
