| Justin Bates Memorial Scholarship | Established in 2011 in memory of their son, Justin, by Julia and Robin Bates to benefit University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (Slovenia) students enrolled at St. Mary’s College and/or St. Mary’s College students enrolled at Universityof Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (Slovenia). |
| Paul Blanchette Chemistry Scholarship | Established in 2012 to benefit rising seniors in chemistry who have financial need. |
| Kate Chandler Award for the Study of Literature, Writing, and the Environment | Created in 2016 and endowed in 2018, the Kate Chandler Fund provides awards to students pursuing undergraduate research and writing in environmental humanities, especially work focused on environmental literature and nature writing. |
| Christine C. Cihlar Memorial Music Scholarship | Established in 1994 by Fred Rippy in memory of his wife, who was the public affairs director at the College, to benefit music students. |
| Hampton Davey Scholarship and Award | Established in 2000 as a tribute to "Red," associate professor of political science, by the Lee family to recognize outstanding seniors who major in political science. |
| Carol Giesen and Laraine Glidden Scholarship | Established in 2012 in honor of Carol A. B. Giesen, Professor Emerita of Human Development, by Laraine M. Glidden, Distinguished Professor Emerita of Psychology and Human Development, to benefit non-traditional students who have academic merit and financial need. |
| Laraine M. and William B. Glidden Undergraduate Research Endowed Fund | Established in 2017 by Drs. Laraine M. Glidden and William B. Glidden to benefit students conducting and/or presenting undergraduate research. |
| Dorothea and Charles Greene Scholarship | Established in 2013 by Dana Greene to benefit students who have financial need. |
| Ardith Z. Harle Master of Arts in Teaching Scholarship | Established in 2011 by professor of educational studies, Ardith Harle, to benefit students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching Program who pursue early education or elementary certification. |
| Joanne Klein Memorial Award | Established in 2017 by Mark A. Rhoda in memory of Joanne Klein, professor of theater, film and media studies, the Joanne Klein Memorial Award recognizes students conducting scholarly and/or creative work in live or screen media, especially in the area of socially engaged art. |
| Andy Kozak Memorial Scholarship | Established in 2014 by Drs. Laraine M. Glidden, William B. Glidden and Donald R. Stabile to benefit incoming students, either first-year of transfer students, who have academic merit and financial need. |
| Maryland Volunteer First Responder Scholarship | Established in 2018 by Kathy and Paul Koch to benefit students who are residents of the State of Maryland and documented first responders within Maryland, with a preference for first-generation students, and who have academic merit and financial need. Selection is based on a minimum one-page essay. |
| Torre M. Meringolo Theater Award | Established in 2009 to recognize juniors or seniors who exhibit great promise in acting with particular consideration given to first generation students. |
| Ho Nguyen Scholarship for Study in Asia | Established in 2008 in honor of professor of economics, Ho Nguyen, for his many years of dedicated service, by Donald R. Stabile to benefit students who pursue study-abroad experiences in Asia. |
| Deak Reynolds Economics Award | Established by Beth and Deak Reynolds, the Deak Reynolds Scholarship in Economics recognizes outstanding juniors or seniors who major in economics. |
| Rhoda-Stark Memorial Award in Gender Studies | Established in 2001 by Mark A. Rhoda in memory of Richard H. Rhoda and John D. Stark, the Rhoda-Stark Memorial Award in Gender Studies recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in research, writing, activism, and/or the performing arts that addresses gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender issues. |
| Henry Rosemont, Jr. Peace and Justice Award | Established in 2010 in honor of Professor Emeritus Henry Rosemont, the Henry Rosemont, Jr. Peace and Justice Award recognizes students who demonstrate commitment to social justice and peace issues through their academic work and/or practical engagement. |
| William Thomas Rowe Art Award | Tom Rowe taught drawing and painting at St. Mary’s College from 1966 until his retirement in the early 1990s. Established in 2008 by the Rowe family, and supported by many of Tom Rowe’s friends, colleagues, and former students, the William Thomas Rowe Endowed Scholarship in Art Fund benefits St. Mary’s College art majors. Selection of recipients is based on essays and portfolios of artwork juried by the College’s art and art history faculty. |
| Lindsey Paul Rudolph Memorial Scholarship | Established in 2009 by Susan and Robert Paul, in memory of their daughter, to benefit sophomores, juniors or seniors who have academic merit and financial need. |
| May Russell Endowed Scholarship | Established in 1984 in memory of May Russell, president of St. Mary's Junior College, to recognize outstanding students. |
| Don Stabile Scholars | Established in 2013 by Donald R. Stabile to benefit incoming students, either first-year or transfer students, who have academic merit. |
