Make your mark on a concert hall seat
Leave a lasting legacy in the new Nancy R. & Norton T. Dodge Performing Arts Center! Be recognized, honor someone special, or remember a loved one with an engraved plaque on the back of a concert hall seat. Each plaque is $300, and your tax-deductible gift will support the Performing Arts Fund.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I be able to sit in the seat with my tribute/inscription?
The seat(s) with your plaque(s) do not entitle you to that seat. However, in the case of open seating for certain events, seating is first come, first served.
Is there a limit on how many seats I can inscribe?
No, there is no limit. If you are interested in inscribing three or more plaques, please contact Miranda Pontarelli at mjpontarelli@smcm.edu. or (240) 895-2122.
Does my gift count as my annual donation?
Absolutely! Our fiscal year is from July 1-June 30. These gifts benefit the Performing Arts Fund.
Can I send in a check?
Yes. Please fill out this tribute form and mail it with your check to SMCM Foundation, Inc. at 47645 College Dr. St. Mary's City, MD 20686.
