Graduate Study: Master of Engineering, Bioinformatics from the University of Illinois at Chicago
Current Position: Research Programmer at Theoretical and Computational Biophysics Group, where he splits his time between software development and scientific research. Prior to that, he was an Associate Engineer at Chesapeake Technology International Corporation, where he developed software for military flight simulators.
Students completing a major in biochemistry will be prepared for careers in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, for pursuit of graduate degrees in biochemistry or chemistry, and for entry into medical, veterinary, dental, or pharmacy schools to name a few.
