The River Runner offers a convenient local shopping shuttle service designed specifically for students. This service will allow students to travel to nearby shopping centers, making it easy to purchase essential items, groceries, and other necessities without the hassle of arranging their own transportation.
The shuttle will run Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 – 9:00 p.m. You must present your SMCM ID to board the River Runner.
Schedule
Depart from Daugherty-Palmer Commons at 4:30 p.m.
- 1st Stop: Wildewood Shopping Center (JC Penney, Belk, lots of food places)
- 2nd Stop: St. Mary’s Market Place (Harris-Teeter, lots of food places)
- 3rd Stop: First Colony Shopping Center (Target, Giant Food, CVS Pharmacy)
- 4th Stop: Walmart Supercenter
- 5th Stop: San Souci Plaza (Marshall’s, Dollar Tree, JOANN Fabrics)
2nd Loop (Drop-off and Pickup): Depart from DPC at 6:00 p.m.
3rd Loop (Pickup only): Depart from DPC around 8:00 p.m.
Return to campus – 9:00 p.m.
