True to the liberal arts fashion, our Asian studies program includes coursework from a variety of fields, such as: art history, English, history, international languages, music, philosophy/religious studies, and more! Outside the classroom, Asian studies majors get the opportunity to experience Asian culture hands-on. You can even study abroad in an Asian country! You’ll also work closely with your professors in small class sizes-- something larger universities can’t offer.
A minor in Asian Studies can equip you with an understanding of a culture and language that can present advantages in foreign employment, humanitarian work, business, government, and health care as well as many other national and international industries.
