Located at historic St. Mary’s City, our anthropology major boasts hands-on field study right in its backyard. Our students participate in archaeological digs throughout the local community. Many even study abroad around the world! Plus, students get to work closely with faculty on individualized research projects. We also offer an archaeology concentration.
A minor in anthropology can equip you with an understanding of human nature, culture, and language that provides an ideal complement to any major. An Anthropology minor can present advantages in foreign employment, humanitarian work, business, government, and health care as well as many other national and international industries.
