The Instant City at 60

Thirty-seven years later, after the Creative Arts Forum's experiment in 1976 with using art to understand the 'Instant City,' Lexington Park remains "the inside of the beast." "LP City" is no less enigmatic now than it was then.

Tom Watts, a local businessman and present when the Creative Arts Forum got its start, is convinced that art can save Lexington Park. An occasional contributor to the Lexington Park Leader, Mr. Watts posted this interview with Charlie Hewitt about creating space for site-specific art in "The Park."
