August 30-September 2: Orientation for new students

SEPTEMBER

September 1-2: Residences open for returning students at 10 a.m.
September 2: Labor Day Holiday: NO CLASSES
September 3: CLASSES BEGIN
September 3-13: Schedule-adjustment period and late registration
September 13: In-Service: TBD
September 16: Room change begins
September 16-27: Add and/or drop a course with a $25 fee per add and/or drop
September 27: LAST DAY for students to submit course work to faculty to remove an Incomplete, to change grading option to Credit/No-credit, and to declare an Audit grading option
September 30-Nov 8: Withdraw with a grade of "W" with a $25 fee

OCTOBER

October 3: LAST DAY to withdraw, with a grade of "W," from half-semester courses
October 4: Bulletin boards/newsletters due
October 11: Fall BASE summaries due to RHCs
October 11: LAST DAY for instructors to remove an Incomplete
October 14-15: Fall Reading Days: NO CLASSES (residences remain open)
October 18: In-Service: TBD
October 21: Spring RA applications available
October 21-25: Half-semester courses begin
October 25: LAST DAY to register for a half-semester course beginning at mid-semester
October 28: Mid-semester report deadline

NOVEMBER

November 1: Last day to submit housing contract release request for Spring 2014 with no financial penalties. Requests submitted and approved from November 2 – December 1 will be assessed a fee of 10% of the semester cost of housing. Requests submitted and approved from December 2 – January 14 will be assessed a fee of 20% of the semester cost of housing.
November 4: Bulletin boards/newsletters due
November 4-8: Academic advising for all degree students currently enrolled
November 5: All day advising. NO CLASSES.
November 6-15: Registration for degree students.
November 8: LAST DAY to withdraw with a grade of "W" from a full-semester course with a $25 fee
November 8: In-Service: Thanksgiving & Winter break closing
November 15: Spring RA interviews
November 18-20: LAST DAY to register for a half-semester course beginning at mid-semester
November 21: Last day to withdraw, without a grade penalty, from a half-semester course which began at mid-semester
November 22: St. Mary's Projects due to mentor
November 26: Thanksgiving recess begins at 10:00 p.m. Residences close for Thanksgiving recess. Health and Safety Inspections occur.

DECEMBER

December 1: Last day to submit housing contract release request for Spring 2014 with 10% fee assessment. Request submitted and approved from December 2 - January 14 will be assessed a few of 20% of the semester cost of housing.
December 1: Residences reopen at 2:00 p.m.
December 2: CLASSES RESUME
December 9: 2014-2015 RA Interest Session
December 13: Last day of regularly scheduled classes
December 13: St. Mary's Projects due and submitted to Student Services desk in Glendening Hall.
December 16-19: Final Class meetings/exams. Last class meeting scheduled during exams.
