Linda and Dan ’75 Scholfield are living in Crofton, Maryland. Their daughter, Wendy, teaches middle school in Crofton and is a two-time Ironman Florida finisher. Their son, Tom, celebrated his marriage to Michelle Noren on July 6, 2007, in Somerville, Mass. Tom is a filmmaker at Boston U; Michelle is a Montessori teacher in Quincy.

Donna L. West and colleagues received two significant awards from the USDA. One was for facilitating the import of Indian mangoes treated with newly approved, environmentally friendly irradiation technology. The other was the Promising Practices Award honoring common sense and ingenuity for the Quarantine 56 rule revision and implementation which streamlined the approval of certain imported fruits and vegetables.

Kevin J. Mulvey is a United States Navy Captain Unrestricted Line Officer with a Merchant Marine Engineer designation. He presently serves as the executive officer of Military Sealift Command Expeditionary Unit 107, Raleigh, N.C. He also is a senior risk consultant engineer in loss control with Chubb Insurance. A resident of Pasadena, Maryland, with his wife, two daughters, and a son, he enjoys coaching his children in lacrosse. When time permits he also loves surfing, snowboarding and all-terrain skateboarding.
