Faculty News

New Faculty on Campus

Please welcome the new faculty for school year 2009-10:

Casey Douglas, assistant professor of mathematics, received her Ph.D. and M.A. from Rice University and B.A. from Southwestern University.

Matthew B. Fehrs, assistant professor of political science, earned a Ph.D. and A.M. from Duke University, an M.A. from Columbia University, and an B.A. from Pitzer College.

H. Anna Han, assistant professor of psychology, received a Ph.D., M.A., B.S., and B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Alan C. Jamieson, assistant professor of computer science, received a Ph.D. from Clemson University and a B.S. from Tulane University.

Pamela Mann, assistant librarian, received her M.L.I.S. from the College of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. She also has an M.A. from the University of Arizona and a B.A. from Northwestern University.

Scott P. Mirabile, instructor of psychology, received his M.S. from the University of New Orleans and a B.A. from Clemson University.

Shizuka Nishikawa, assistant professor of economics, received a Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University as well as a B.A. and M.A. from Keio University.

Nayana P. Abeysinghe, visiting instructor of French, received an M.Phil. and an M.A. from Columbia University, and a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine.

Gabriela Bulisova, visiting assistant professor of art, has an M.F.A. and B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Maureen Mathews, visiting assistant professor of psychology, earned a B.A. from Eastern Washington University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. at Virginia Commonwealth University

Kirby McMaster, visiting professor of computer science, has a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D., Brigham Young University.

Matthew Wells, visiting assistant professor of mathematics, has a B.S. from Grand Valley State University; and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky.

Sarah Melissa Witiak, visiting assistant professor of biology, has a Ph.D. from New York University, and a B.A. from St. Mary's College of Maryland.

David Yost, visiting instructor of education, has his B.A. from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
