National LGBTQ & Ally College Student Career Conference
September 26-28th, 2014, Washington, D.C.

This conference will feature breakout sessions, workshops, and keynote speeches presented by companies, organizations, and individuals leading the way in LGBTQ workplace inclusion. The conference will give undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to network one-on-one with LGBTQ employees and representatives to discuss being out and open in various industries, organizations, being out on resumes, being out in interviews, being out on social media, and more! The PRIDE Career Fair at the conclusion of the conference will include over 30 companies from a variety of industries promoting their career and internship opportunities. Application for Financial Support

Any student interested in attending the conference may apply for financial assistance to help cover the cost of registration, meals, and lodging by completing the online application here. Applicants must submit a cover letter that addresses what they hope to gain from the conference as well as an updated resume.* Please title these documents with your first and last name.

Applications for financial support are due Friday, August 1st, 2014 by 5:00 pm

Top applicants will be invited to interview with the selection committee.  Notifications will be send via e-mail to all applicants.

Note: Any student may apply for financial support.  However, financial support is extremely limited and only the applicants who can best describe what they hope to gain from this experience and who can positively represent SMCM will be funded.   Any students not awarded financial support may still attend the conference with their own resources.
