Oral Expression Center
The Oral Expression Center, located in Glendening Hall, is a private room equipped with a speaker's podium, laptop computer, data projector, timer, and video camera. Individual students or small groups may reserve the space to practice any kind of formal presentation, as well as to film themselves for future study.
During the fall, the Center is reserved for the use of students working on presentations for their First Year Seminars. It is open Monday-Thursday 4-6:00 p.m., by appointment, and is staffed by a peer mentor. Students seeking to use the Center's facilities should contact their own peer mentor to make reservations. During spring semester, we hope to make the Center more widely available—in particular for students practicing their SMP presentations.
