Anthropology Laboratory Fellow

Student Responsibilities/Benefits:

Management of anthropology lab facility, including organizing, processing, curation, and tracking of archaeological collections; organization of library materials and development of check-out system; inventory and management of lab supplies; assisting students with lab resources for projects and assignments; assisting faculty with maintaining orderly space.

The successful candidate must be: dependable with strong organizational and communication skills; able to work well with others; motivated to “problem solve” and show creative initiative in a small space; and willing to guide students and faculty. Ideally, we seek someone with previous student experience working with anthropology collections. The successful candidate should have an academic schedule that allows him or her to work at least three days a week and preferably more (hours may vary). If desired, some of this work can be accomplished on weekends, although weekend work is not required.
