A. Lorraine RobinsonWhen I graduated from St. Mary's as a theater major, I realized I had received not just a degree, but a true education. The department not only gave me a foundation in the theory and practice of my craft, but most importantly an opportunity to ignite as an artist and to develop a style and interest in challenging theatrical material, which led me on fascinating journeys after I left the school.

A. Lorraine Robinson, '92, director of faculty and education, Sitar Arts Center, Washington, D.C.; co-founder and -producer, MuseFire Productions, a multimedia production company incorporating both stage and screen media, Washington, D.C.; freelance director.

Much Ado About NothingOpening in the BDT on Thursday, November 6 @ 8:00 PM, Shakespeare's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING.
Free admission with College ID!

Just present your college ID at the Box Office window to claim your complimentary ticket on opening night! Performance dates: November 6-8 & 13-15 @ 8pm and November 9 & 16 @ 2pm.

It’s Shakespeare at his rom-com best! MUCH ADO is a play about love, betrayal, and one-upness. It’s got witty dialogue, fireworks between lovers young and older, bumbling villains, and sadly incompetent law officers. It's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, and a lot to do about us. Come enjoy the ride!

To make reservations for MUCH ADO, contact the Theater Box Office at 240-895-4243 (ext. 4243) or email boxoffice@smcm.edu. Ticket prices are $4 for students, faculty, SMCM staff, senior citizens, and Arts Alliance members; $6 general admission.

Please note: Patrons must pick up their reserved tickets at the Box Office window by 7:50 p.m. for evening performances and by 1:50 p.m. for matinee performances; otherwise, unclaimed tickets will be released for sale.
