A. Lorraine RobinsonWhen I graduated from St. Mary's as a theater major, I realized I had received not just a degree, but a true education. The department not only gave me a foundation in the theory and practice of my craft, but most importantly an opportunity to ignite as an artist and to develop a style and interest in challenging theatrical material, which led me on fascinating journeys after I left the school.

A. Lorraine Robinson, '92, director of faculty and education, Sitar Arts Center, Washington, D.C.; co-founder and -producer, MuseFire Productions, a multimedia production company incorporating both stage and screen media, Washington, D.C.; freelance director.

Exquisite Corpse Auditions for EXQUISITE CORPSE, Wednesday, January 21, 7:00-10:00 p.m. , in the BDT.

Auditions for TFMS’s first show of the spring semester, EXQUISITE CORPSE, will take place in the Bruce Davis Theater, MH on Wednesday, January 21, from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Callbacks are currently scheduled for Thursday, January 22. For your audition, please prepare a two-minute contemporary monologue of your choice; a prepared (memorized) piece is preferable to a cold reading. An audition sign-up sheet will be posted on the TFMS bulletin board in the Theater lobby, MH, by January 12. Please direct any questions about audition procedures or the production to director Jess Lustig @ jtlustig@smcm.edu.

Named after the parlor game, in which players add words or images to a composition in sequence, EXQUISITE CORPSE sets out to examine the story of war through a collection of narratives from one-act plays, dance/movement, and spoken word.

EXQUISITE CORPSE performs February 25-March 1.
